This course is intended for:

Candidates working – or aspiring to work – as Junior Office Administrators, Receptionists, Office Assistants, Public Relations Officers or Marketing Administrators.

Assessment information:

2 to 3 formative assessments per subject. Submitted to and marked by Optimi College.

1 Portfolio of Evidence per subject. All Portfolios of Evidence are digital. Your Portfolio of Evidence is completed on Macci, the ICB’s digital platform, when you register for your exam. The Portfolio of Evidence has a deadline determined by the ICB. You need to pass and complete your Portfolio of Evidence to be allowed access to the exam.

      • Phase 1: 1 assignment and 1 test (both online, auto-marked, open book)
      • Phase 2: 1 assignment and 1 test (both online, auto-marked, open book)
      • Phase 3: 1 assignment (download, complete, upload, hand-marked, open book)

1 final exam per subject. Online (hand-marked) or paper-based at a venue (hand marked)

 

Pass requirements:

      • 30% of your final mark comes from your Portfolio of Evidence.
      • 70% of your final mark comes from the final exam.
      • You need at least 50% in the final exam to pass.
      • You need at least 60% overall to pass.

 

Exam information:

Exams can be written in February, May, August and November each year.
